With nearly 30 years experience as a Speech Pathologist, Gabrielle is passionate about optimising people’s communication, in particular in the areas of Voice, Speech and Stuttering. Her specific work with the muscles of the face, tongue and palate extend into treatment of disorders of chewing and swallowing, an area known as Myofunctional Therapy.
Gabrielle continues to refine and advance her skills, and after 8 years delving into the Science of Breathing, she has added Breathing Retraining to her skillset. Gabrielle is fascinated with the interaction of the Biomechanical (the muscles), the Biochemical (carbon dioxide, oxygen and more), and the Psychophysiological (linking the body’s physiological signal from the brain and body eg: increased heart rate, to cognitive and emotional processes eg: fear/joy/excitement/stress). This drives her thorough assessment and individualised programs to maximise outcomes for her clients.

Nicola Unite offers psychotherapy support to young people and adults. She approaches each client as a uniquely wonderful person capable of their own healing.

As an IFS - Internal Family Systems (Level 1) therapist who has also trained in ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Nicola customises her client’s sessions based on individual need and personal engagement.

Nicola’s 20 years of experience in school settings has allowed her to understand and resonate with young people from a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and needs. She has also worked closely with parents for many years, and she is happy to work with clients around a range of parenting issues - noting that she is not able to see child and parent as individuals, simultaneously.

Nicola is also a mindfulness educator and breathwork practitioner. Nicola uses these modalities in sessions where appropriate with client permission.

Facilitated Breath Repatterning

Nicola trained in a unique breathwork modality known as Conscious Connected Breathwork under Breathwork Bali, an organisation pioneering the field of scientific research development of Conscious Connected breathwork as a healing modality.

This modality, in a clinical and safe environment, allows the client to connect with their breath, facilitated by Nicola through vocal cues, music, and light body work.

In this one hour and 15 mins process, clients use a breathing technique which allows unprocessed or interrupted patterns in the their life to surface and resolve through a repatterning of habitualised and unconscious breathing patterns. The process is completed by a deep relaxation and integration for body and mind.

Nicola returns to Bali regularly as a professional development practice. She has seen the deeply transformative effects this technique has had on a variety of clients around the world, and also on her own journey.

Nicola’s perspective on this practice is that it must be facilitated in a safe container so that clients are able to access their potential depth of experience with trust.

Nicola is available for 15 min pre-consultation calls to answer your questions. This allows you the opportunity to find out more about psychotherapy, breathwork and Nicola.

Acupuncture, located within the broader field of Chinese Medicine, is part of an extensive and complex system of theory and practice that has been developed over more than two thousand years.

The pathway for treatment in acupuncture is via the meridian system. According to the theory of Chinese Medicine, each organ of the body has an associated meridian.

The insertion of fine needles into selected points on meridians acts to bring about particular responses such as reduce pain or invigorate organ function and facilitates healing.

Acupuncture is highly compatible with physical therapies such as chiropractic, physiotherapy and osteopathy. By restoring the energetic structure and integrity of injured areas, deeper and more lasting therapeutic results can be achieved.

Deb is an integrative nutritionist, completing BHS. in Clinical Nutrition in 2022, a Dip. Health Sciences (Nutritional Medicine) in 2021, Adv. Dip in Professional Kinesiology in 2007, and a Cert. IV in Remedial Massage in 2011.

Deb is passionate about identifying the root cause of her client's symptoms, using kinesiology to identify the varying factors contributing to symptoms or disease development. Deb tailors specific holistic treatment plans which incorporate diet and lifestyle changes, using kinesiology (muscle testing) and clinical nutrition and nutrients as medicine to address specific health concerns, improve overall health and reduce symptoms. With a keen interest in gut health and immune function, Deb is a trained Microba Insight practitioner so can also assist in comprehensive stool analysis testing, among other functional tests if required.

Clinical nutrition considers that everything we put into our body affects the balance and flow of energy production in our cells, organs and nervous system. The cells in our body are responsible for producing the energy and metabolism we need to live and thrive, for this process to happen effectively our body requires specific nutrients, absorbed through food, supplements and effective breathing. If we are not consuming the right foods, nutritional deficiencies or excesses can occur, which impacts our body’s ability to produce energy effectively. Left unaddressed, this can lead to chronic health issues, fatigue, digestive and immune issues and a decline in overall health. Kinesiology is an effective tool using the body's muscles and biofeedback systems to identify what is causing stress, or weakness in our body, it can also assist in the identification of what is needed to increase strength and resilience.

It was Deb’s own personal health journey that led her to study natural therapies, after years of feeling unsupported and misunderstood by Western medicine, she experienced remarkable healing from chronic fatigue and Lyme's disease with kinesiology and nutritional support, she has an intimate understanding of the frustrations encountered with complex health conditions which are often left unresolved or ignored by medical practitioners, as a result, she wants her patients to feel heard, supported and safe during their healing journey.

Holistic Counsellor & Yoga Teacher

Clinic Hours

Tuesday 1.30pm - 7.00pm
Saturday 8.00am - 1.00pm

Sascha is a qualified counsellor that works somatically to release and heal the nervous system which governs our fight or flight and determines how we respond to stressors.

Medical research has determined up to 90 percent of illness and disease is related to stress. Stress interferes with your physical functioning and natural bodily processes, resulting in dis-ease. In order to find more ease in your daily life one must address the issues that are causing the stress.

As a holistic counsellor, Sascha uses her counselling education and lived experience to draw wisdom from when working with her clients. She acknowledges the connection between the mind and body and the importance of health between both.

Sascha is also an experienced yoga teacher and integrates her knowledge of the body into sessions with clients. In order to fast track your healing, she may weave in yoga poses tailored specifically for each individual client’s needs, to help move stress through and out of the body.

She uses Kinesiology, a method of using the bodies wisdom to muscle test clients in order to determine answers as to where there is disharmony in the body. We then strive to restore harmony. Kinesiology also allows clients to discover and express suppressed emotions. When emotions are expressed and witnessed, they no longer hold the same toxic power.

Sascha is an empathetic listener, she loves working with people in an environment where anything and everything is open for discussion. She is trauma aware and works using a person-centred approach to counselling, whereby the client takes the reins and steers the direction of the session, while Sascha acts as a support.

She has been working and getting great results with a wide range of clients presenting with a variety of issues for many years. As a mother of three primary school aged children Sascha loves to connect with fellow parents and help them manage the challenges that come along with parenting with greater levels of ease and connection in their family lives.

Anna is a restorative bodywork practitioner specialising in breathwork and somatic therapy. Her sessions combine science based breathwork, Vedic and Tantric meditation techniques, Shiatsu, pressure point and Reiki therapy.

Breathwork is a somatic therapy where we are guided through continual and conscious breathing patterns, that enable us to connect with our own physiology; We use breath to engage the mind, body and spirit connection.

A regular Breathwork practice allows the nervous system to experience and regulate a range of thoughts, emotions and sensations. When done in a safe environment, we gain awareness around the intelligence and wisdom within, and build trust in our body and mind. We can then develop a new and harmonious relationship with these parts of ourselves for our optimal wellbeing.

Essential to the experience is learning how to isolate and tone the diaphragm so we can learn to breathe efficiently and effectively.

Through 1:1 sessions, you will learn techniques and have felt-sense experiences. You will become empowered by your own ability to heal and improve your mental, physical and physiological wellbeing, through connection to your breath.
